All drawings are produced using Vector Works software, files are widely compatible with other CAD systems. Structural analysis software is either QSE for simple 3-dimensional frames or cutting-edge FE-capable Strand7 for more complex slab and plate arrangements.

The design office is equipped with a HP RAID server supporting eight work stations, back up is carried out on a daily basis by a remotely managed IT company who also maintain peripheral systems including virus protection software.

We have a weekly CPD lunch session on Wednesdays, with either a visiting speaker or in-house discussions. All staff are allocated a yearly CPD budget which they are strongly expected to use.
